Sophie x 3

Sophie has been a handful lately. She lives to see both her mother and her father get fired up. She gets out of bed multiple times with a smirk on her face, like what are you going to do. She loves to tell me "no" a lot lately. She has gotten into the sticky, greasy aquifer medicine that we put on Ellie's lips and has tried it in her hair as gel. She insists on putting my makeup on when it is out. She wants to do everything herself until I want her do do something for herself. She gets so mad and frustrated when she can't do something, but she won't accept help. I feel she has hit the "terrible twos" at three. I keep hoping this stage will end soon.
She did have her birthday. It was fun. For a day or two we thought that we would have to cancel her party due to illness. She was a sick little girl Friday. But she perked up Saturday. So we partied on Sunday. She was spoiled by everyone. She was quick to rip her gifts open so that her sisters wouldn't help her. It cracked everyone up. We weren't even sure who gave her what gifts. It was record time. But she enjoyed the spotlight for the day. We had a princess themed party. She even dressed for the part.

She loves spending one on one time with mom and dad. She doesn't get that often. She loves to ride bikes outside. Swinging and helping with any outdoor chore. She is full of spirit and vigor. She knows what she wants and what she doesn't and will let you know. She is a great addition to our family. I can't believe that she is 3. We love you Sophie
