The First and the Last

We have had a crazy and busy summer. We usually go camping a few times. Well, this summer we tried to go a few times and never was able to go. With Carl getting home around 6:00 or later on a Friday. We knew that we would never be able to get packed up and head to the mountains before all the camping spaces would be taken. The girls were devastated that we never went camping. So, we did our first and last camping trip for the year this past weekend. We had a great time. Our friends allowed us to borrow their camp trailer. I may never sleep in a tent again. It was so nice to have a bed, shower and toilet. It was so kind of them to let us borrow it for the weekend. We really enjoyed ourselves. We went 4-wheeling, hiking, roasted hot dogs and had smores. Who could ask for more. The girls were in heaven and loved it. They couldn't get enough 4-wheeling, dirt and junk food. They had a great time. We are happy that we made the time to have our first and last camping trip of the year.
