This month has flown by. Kensie even said the other day, "Mom it seems like it just turned August and now it is the end of August." Time is just passing too fast for us. This month we have been very busy. Sophie had an eye appointment at the beginning of the month. The Dr. says she is looking good. We just need to continue to patch her eye and see her in 5 months. Woohoo! We took the girls to Chuck E Cheese while we were there. They had a BLAST! It was such a fun surprise for them. They loved it.
Fair week has come and gone. We had the stomach flu that entire week. Everyone of us got it. At least we got it over with. We went to the fair a few times. We even went to the Rodeo to watch Grandma Pam ride. It was a fun night. We always enjoy the rodeo.
Our friends the Monroes moved to here. We are happy to have friends to hang out with. My girls are loving having them here.
Kensie is going to be taking violin lessons starting in September and can hardly wait. Ellie is going to take dance again. She is excited to be in the tap class this year. Sophie is technically old enough to start dance, but I feel like she is still too little. So we will wait and put her in next year. Maybe I am just putting off running one more little girl around. I am just not ready.
We registered Kensie for 2nd grade and Ellie for kindergarten. They are so excited for school to start. We went to back to school night and met their teachers. They seem wonderful. The girls loved them both. We start school Monday the 24th and the girls are counting down the days. I'll get pictures posted of their first day of school.
I can't believe that August is almost over. We are headed for fall and harvest before we know it. For now I will shed a tear that summer is nearly over.

I'm SO not ready for school yet! I still wanted to come out and see you all... sigh. Not enough time or money to do all we want to do I suppose. We start the 31st and I'm not excited about it. This might be a harder adjustment for me than for him.
