Festival of Trees

We had the Festival of Trees last week. There were hundreds of beautiful trees, but we were more interested in the entertainment. Ellie sang with her preschool class on Thursday. It was quite a large group when you combined both morning and afternoon classes. They all looked so cute with their red shirts, Santa hats and reindeer ears. Ellie sang a solo and did a wonderful job. She sang the first part of "Too Fat for the Chimney." She did such a great job! She sang loud and clear so that everyone could hear. She practiced every night for a week so that she wouldn't be nervous. Way to go Ellie!
Kensie and Ellie both danced on Saturday. They have been performing at all the retirement centers in the area for the past few weeks to practice for the Festival of Trees. We have been busy running all over to make it to all of their different practices and performances. I was out of town on Saturday, so my mom came over to help Carl do the girl's hair and makeup. They looked beautiful. Thanks mom. I have been told that they did a wonderful job. Good job little ladies! It is so fun to watch our girls grow up and learn so many fun things. They sure keep us busy!

They look adorable.
Ellie did a great job at the Festival. Ember sure likes Ellie a lot. She is always talking about Ellie and writing her name on paper.
